  27.   The Workbench trashcan... It's pretty pathetic isn't? Glad you agree.
  28. Rubbish Dump provides an easier alternative. You simply drag icons over a
  29. central trashcan on the Workbench... and they're deleted just like that.
  30. It also has a wee novelty - It can play a sample when you delete things (It
  31. actually uses @{" ARexx " link N_AREXX} so it can do what ever you want really).

  35.   The provided installer script will install Rubbish Dump. It requires the
  36. CBM Installer utility to be in your path.

  40.   Rubbish Dump supports the following Workbench icon tooltypes:
  41. LEFTEDGE
  42. TOPEDGE : Specifies the co-ordinates of the trashcan icon on the Workbench.
  43.           A negative or zero value will cause the icon to be positioned in 
  44.           a free space. Defaults to a free space.
  45. NAME    : The text that will appear below the trashcan icon on the Workbench.
  46.           Defaults to "Rubbish Dump".
  47. ICON    : The icon that will be placed on the Workbench as the trashcan icon.
  48.           Note that the icon name should not have ".info" at the end. The
  49.           Install script will copy some trashcan icons to DEVS:Icons (by
  50.           default) so this tooltype should normally read:
  51.           ICON=DEVS:Icons/***
  52.           where *** is the name of one of the icons in DEVS:Icons.
  53.           Defaults to using the program icon.

  55. REXXCMD : See @{" ARexx " link N_AREXX}.
  56.   The above arguments are also supported as Shell parameters, following the
  57. following format:
  58.               X=LEFTEDGE/K/N,Y=TOPEDGE/K/N,I=ICON/K,N=NAME/K,
  59.               RP=REXXPORT/K,RC=REXXCMD/K,CX_PRIORITY/K/N:

  63.   For best effect Rubbish Dump should be placed in you WBStartup drawer 
  64. (the installation script will always do this). You will then have a trashcan
  65. on your Workbench everytime you use your Amiga.
  66.   To delete a file or directory you simply drag its icon over the trashcan.
  67. You can of course delete multiple objects at a time by shift-selecting 
  68. icons. All files within a directory will be deleted if you drag a drawer or
  69. disk over the trashcan.
  70.   If a file is proteced from deletetion then a requester will ask if you
  71. really wish to delete it. A requester will pop up if any other errors occur,
  72. zb: trying to delete a drawer/file in use (assigned?).

  77.   Rubbish Dump uses ARexx to play the sound sample after every deletion.
  78. The sound is played by Upd. You can however use this feature to do whatever
  79. you want. zb: You could launch an ARexx script, use a module player to
  80. play a short module...
  81.   This feature is controled by the following tooltypes
  82. REXXPORT : The port that the ARexx command will be sent to.
  83.            Defaults to "PLAY".
  84. REXXCMD  : The command to be sent to the above port.
  85.            Defaults to "id TRASH".
  86.   So if you wanted to launch an ARexx script you'd use:
  87.   REXXPORT=REXX
  88.   REXXCMD=<script name and path>
  89.   If you wanted to play a module with Delitracker:
  90.   REXXPORT=DELITRACKER
  91.   REXXCMD=playmod <module name>
